Beauty in Nature

I have already shared a post consisting of flowers and plants from SBU Greenhouse. This time these are photos of flowers and leaves that I found around SBU campus while walking. I did not move or set up any of the elements in these pictures. It was there and I was saw them at an opportune time. The timing is important mostly because I usually went around campus in the evening around 4 ish / 5 ish depending on the season, which means that the light streaming in is softer and close to the golden hour hue.

If you have been following me or have seen my photography, you will realize I enjoy playing with lights and shadows.

These are some of the most random picture I took while walking around campus with a friend. Spotting the leaves and the evening light streaming through the trees, it just looked like it was meant to be captured.

This was shot near Staller Center (building in my campus). I was actually taking photos for another project, when I got distracted with this tiny plant and the beautiful way the light was illuminating only a portion of the plant. If you look closely you will also see a faint spider web on the lower left corner.
