The first time I saw fresh snow was in the Spring semester of 2016. I loved the snow, it was pretty and beautiful and once the layers settled it looked so pristine. Yes, it was freezing cold, the kind that I was not used to but the snowball fight (that I forced my friends into) and the hot chocolate after was worth it. Now, I am not the biggest fan of snow, especially once it starts melting but shooting on snow is something I wanted to do. Let me say this, taking pictures is fun, especially with snow-covered backgrounds, but my hands and feet may not say the same thing. You see my hands were frozen, clicking the shutter button was so difficult, and covering my face was not an option. Safe to say, it was definitely brutal but the results were worth it and my friend was happy. So definitely worth it.
Good pair of gloves and boots are a must!
